A rich and creamy, clean coffee with sweetness and some savoury tones.
It has been a long time since we have entertained a Colombian coffee. Although popular in the UK, in our opinion recent examples from Colombia have been below the quality required to qualify as a specialist product. At last we have a fine example of Colombian coffee from a farm in the Nariño region on the south side of Colombia. Owned by Luis Guerro, this coffee is made up from 70% Caturra and 30% Castillo bean varieties. The method of processing is to fully wash the coffee and then after a 12 hr fermentation period, to dry the beans on patios in the sun.
