This is one of China's "noble teas". Full and round, it is nicknamed the "mocha" of teas. The tea is only made during the last two weeks of March and the first two weeks of April, when the new season flushes in a particular manner and gives a high percentage of golden tips. It is visually appealing with tippy, neat, wiry and well made leaves.
The tea is characterised by its fine shape, varnished colour, fragrant aroma and malty taste. Treat yourself to you of the world's greatest teas.
