This tea is produced in the Fujin province of China. This exquisite tea is made only from new buds before they start to open. The silvery down-covered leaves have been prized for their medicinal properties for more than one thousand years. Originally, only the Emperor could drink this tea, which had to be harvested by maidens, wearing white gloves, using golden scissors.
